Today was a much needed day of rest. We got to sleep in until 0915, and have a leisurely breakfast. Afterward, I did some more laundry (it never ends, here!) and then sat in the sun in our courtyard with all the girls and got a few rays. As it turns out, I got more than just a few. We all have strange burn lines from the angle of the sun. My right forearm got quite pink, whereas my left arm got almost no sun at all. I got a little on my lower legs, too as I was trying to arrange my sundress to make sure I was modestly covered. I don't remember if I shared with everyone that last week, when we walked into town, the front of my skirt rode up and was nearly tucked into my shoulder pack which was dangling by my waist. I guess that is why I was attracting quite a bit of attention...
Anyway, not much to report from here in Africa. Tomorrow we are going to the traditional birth attendants (what that means I am not sure). I will fill you in tomorrow! Stay tuned.
I finally had a more normal BM today. *finally*. I hope it keeps improving!
