I have been working tirelessly on my presentation, which is coming up this Friday! After a series of unfortunate events, I lost my entire presentation last week Sunday, which meant that I had to start from scratch and build it all over again. I am pleased to report that after many late nights and early mornings, I am making good progress on the actual presentation. I still have quite a ways to go until the finished product, but I think I will squeak by before the deadline.
I am still l.o.v.i.n.g. my new position. I am learning new things every day; and I really am feeling more and more that I'm really a nurse! Well, almost. But, you know the feeling. Everything is just clicking. It is so rewarding to be part of the very beginning for a new baby-I go home after work with an immense amount of respect for the people I work with, and the families that I have the priviledge of caring for. I am so lucky to have the position I have!!! I look forward to the next morning, and I have been fortunate enough to get mainly the same patient assignment every day. For the families, it is comforting. For me, it is perfect-I get to really know my little ones, and the team that is helping to care for them. It is awesome!
I stopped by the CHW Farmer's Market after work today. Every Tuesday, there is one on campus, and every Saturday there is one in downtown Tosa. Perfect, since I work every other weekend...I still get farm fresh fruits and veggies!!!
Well, back to work. I'm working early in the morning again...and have quite the day ahead after work! Love to all :)
